IM GOING TO LONDON !!!!!!

I would be lying to you if I said I wasn't about to move to London for 4 months and spend all the money in my savings account just so I could feel like I went to Hogwarts.....but THEREIN LIES THE ISSUE FRIENDS DON'T TRY TO TRICK YOU GET YOU ON THE PHONE AND MIND TWIST YOU!!!!!!!! ummm ANYWAYS I'm about to be living in the same area code as Emma Watson, Harry Styles, Andrew Garfield and Taylor Swift so it was nice knowing you lovely ladies.

I will be living in Kensington and apparently, that is the /posh/ part of London so let's see how my piece of trash self fits in with the posh brits. So far I have a trip to Paris planned in January, a ticket to Wicked the Musical, and a ticket to Harry Style's arena tour so my ass is already clapping. But in addition to those fun activities, I hope to travel to Copenhagen, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Berlin, Nice, Ireland, Scotland, and all over England. Sooo with all of that travel, my dreams are coming true bc all I want to do in life is travel AND something is bound to go wrong which will seem bad in the moment but then I will have some funny content for my social media so it's all good.

Wait I forgot to post the actual purpose of this post, and it was to tell everyone I was going to use this blog while I'm abroad. Okay thank you for your service to this country have a nice day.

Also Emma Watson doesn't stop for fans I guess bc she wants to maintain some normality....I just want all of you to know that if I saw Emma Watson and she just ignored me and told me to go away I would literally fling myself into oncoming traffic so I hope that you guys are excited for the candids if that happens.
anyways have a nice day

NYC WEEK 1

Hello? Is this thing still on?

I literally forgot I had a blog, but it's okay because I've lived in Iowa for the past year and my life was pretty boring, but NOW I live in NYC and have an internship at a fashion/celeb PR firm and my life is suddenly very far from boring!

Internship

Alright, so I literally intern AT THE COOLEST PLACE. Like 20 times a day, I look up and I'm just like "How....did I get this lmao?" So basically, the company I work for is a fashion PR firm and our clients send us their samples after they are debuted, and our job is to send them to magazines, celebrities, and photo shoots to gain publicity for the brands! Everyone that I work with is so lovely and hardworking! I think it's so funny that they aren't phased by the fact that they work with celebrities. I guess I'm just not used to it, but they will email me and be like "Can you pack these up and send them to Rhianna?" And I will be like..yoU WANT ME TO DO WHAT??????  I love it so much and I feel so cool knowing what celebrities are going to wear beforehand. I was on Twitter last night and saw a picture of Lorde at the Gov Ball and was just like....HEY I SAW THAT IN OUR SHOWROOM FOR HER.

But anyways, I am already learning SO much and I have only been there for 4 days so I cannot wait to see how much more I learn this Summer!

NYC

New York City is literally the weirdest place ever. Like it's disgusting, gross, and loud, but you love it so much. I think I've finally started to get the hang of the subways. (Except for yesterday when I tried to get a milkshake and couldn't find the uptown train and walked around NoLita for 2 hours) I just love living in NYC so much, and I think going back to Kansas after this summer is going to be very hard. The thing I love about NYC is that everyone is so passionate about what they are doing that it's infectious. It's just so beautiful to be around people that are so ambitious and love what they are doing.

I have always had really bad anxiety and for some reason, it's been almost non-existent while in NYC. When I first arrived, my friend was planning to pick me up from the airport and texted me that she was going to be a little late. If this would've happened 1 year ago, I probably would've started freaking out and crying, but I just remember being like w/e she will come.
