Fall Transition Outfits

Its that time of year again where you have your heater on full blast in the morning, and then by lunch time, you have the air conditioning on. I hate this time of year because I just want to break out my fall sweaters and boots but that is hard to do when it is 90 degrees outside. Here are a couple of examples of things to wear during the summer to fall transition period.
I love this outfit for a fall transition because I can wear this polka dot nautical romper that I wore all summer, and mix it with a mustard yellow scarf. This is a perfect example of mixing summer pieces and fall pieces.

This look is a little bit of a "grungy"?? look haha I know my style is very far from the definition of that but I am LOVING these ankle booties for fall. And I took the edgy boots and paired them with a striped shirt and then a solid black skater skirt. This outfit is good for the fall transition period because the skirt and shirt are light weight, while the booties are very good for fall. I can also see myself wearing this outfit in the winter, but throwing a pair of tights on underneath.

Sunflower State

This isn't much of a fashion blog post, but the other day I found a the most beautiful field of sunflowers and with only living in Kansas for one more year before I go off to college, I decided to take some pictures! It was so pretty! I am wearing a striped shift dress from anthropologie, but it is a year or two old (I KNOW I AM THE WORST BLOGGER)
Hope you all get the chance to frolic through a field of sunflowers!
